In this crazy part of my life that is my blog, sometimes events take place that are a bit surreal and I have to sit down for a moment and take a few deep breaths to process them.
This is one such moment. Guys, I never in my wildest dreams thought that I would one day have a project up on what is pretty much my all time favourite design blog, and yet here we are. I’m sharing a project on Design Sponge!!

I made these planter boxes to share with Grace’s lovely readers and I tell you what, I’m kind of addicted to hammering nails into wood now – it was so much fun and a great way to release pent up energy. Don’t be alarmed if you’ve never worked with wood before – this is a super easy intro for novice woodworkers (and let’s face it, that includes me!).
