When I organised last year’s Christmas party at work, I ended up buying a whole stack of candles in glass votives to decorate. Which looked fabulous on the day, but of course it meant that I was left with loads of empty votives at the end of the night. And although I’m usually fairly good with getting rid of clutter, try as I might I just couldn’t bring myself to throw these little jars away… quite possibly because deep down I knew I could make something nice with them down the track!

Well fast forward three months and I finally had enough of them sitting around in a paper bag in the closet, so I got my act together and turned them into bathroom storage.

I tell you, it was so easy to make these guys over and give them new lease on life that I’m tempted to do this with all my unused glassware. If you’d like to know how, head on over to Today’s Creative Blog for step-by-step instructions (and a gratuitous amount of pics – evidently I got a bit carried away with taking photos of these little guys!).

xx Steph
