This week has been an interesting one work-wise. For the first time in awhile, I’ve been pushed to step outside my comfort zone on several projects, and as much as I hate to admit it, what they say is true… that’s where the magic happens.
Not that I’m necessarily saying the resulting work was magic haha. But I’m definitely learning new skills along the way, which I’m excited about because it means each project from hereon in will be that much better than the ones before. Win!
It also helps that I got to play with fun, messy, colourful props as part of the process. I’m normally quite neat, but creating chaos mid-project always makes things more fun and at one point this week I had sugar, oil, sawdust, paint and juice all over the floor all at the same time. See? Fun. 🙂
