Having lived with bare walls for the better part of a decade, I’ve become a bit addicted to hunting for wall art. It’s a lot of fun to see a piece and imagine how it might transform the look of my living room (or bedroom, or heck any room really because I’ve got blank walls everywhere!).
But as anyone who’s ever searched for the perfect artwork can attest, a nice framed piece can be expensive. And being a stay-at-home mum, there’s only so far each dollar of mine will stretch. So more often than not, that pretty painting that I spent hours hunting for will get pinned to my Pinterest boards for ‘later’, while my money stays safely in my bank account and my walls stay bare.
Until now that is! While I might not yet be able to buy the beautiful painting I’ve got on my wishlist, I’ve found a really easy way to create pretty art on a budget. And even better, once you’ve got the hang of folding those little origami pyramids, you can knock over the whole project in under half an hour! Want to know more?
