So. Christmas is over and the new year has well and truly begun. Also, I’ve been at work for a week and it already feels like I’ve been back forever. Sigh. The good news is that there are lots of public holidays coming up and you can bet I’m going to be making the most of those when the time comes!
Veering off on a bit of a tangent now, I wanted to know what the best gift you got for Christmas was? The reason I’m asking is that I got a wonderfully wacky present from a good friend of mine and it turned out to also be the best present I got for Christmas (it was a gold rhino with a hole in it’s back. Brilliant right? Just look at how amazing he looks filled up with air plants).
As well as being super cool, I guess this gift is a nice reminder that wacky and unusual is often the best fun. And maybe I should embrace more randomness in my life and not try so hard to ‘fit the mould’ as they say. 🙂
