Without sounding like too much of a DIY nerd (too late?), I was SUPER excited to stumble across this find. I’ve always loved the idea of chalkboard paint, but I wanted to paint things I’d eventually need to wash (like ceramics). And since I have a bit of a thing about wanting my work to be durable I’ve shied away from using it in the past.
Then I found out they make chalkboard paint for glass. Genius! You apply this just like regular paint, but allow it to try for several days and then bake it in the oven. And once that’s done, it’ll withstand hand-washing and supposedly you’ll even be able to run it through the dishwasher.
I’ll be trying it for the first time in Wednesday’s project – tune in to see how it all goes!
