Just like that, September is over and there’s a whole bunch of projects that I haven’t yet shared with you guys. Crazy!
I’m usually super eager to show you my work, so I guess that’s as good an indicator as any of how INSANELY busy last month was for me. I honestly don’t know how I’m going to keep this up until Christmas… how long til the holidays roll around again?
Anyway, imminent burnout aside, you might recall that I’m now writing for Curbly. Guys, I’m loving it! It’s a whole new space for me to let loose with my creativity so if you’re thirsty for projects, hop on over to find a few of mine and many more from the other talented makers who post there regularly… trust me, it’s a DIY heaven.
Here’s a recap of what I’ve been sharing there lately… the latest project to go live was some abstract wall art that I really enjoyed working on because it was superrrr easy to make. Seriously, all you need is a paint scraper to get this textured effect!
Next up is a tote bag that came about when I finally decided to get my act together and reserve a bag just for my market day fruit and veggies. Because it’s probably not cool for me to keep chucking my fruit into a bag that my trainers, glues and craft paints have been sitting in all week right?
I also made some tealight holders for myself after I recently did some outdoor entertaining and found out didn’t have any. Um what? Like how is that even possible for a chronic DIYer?
And that’s it for now! I’ve got a ton of new projects up my sleeve for Curbly during October that I can’t wait to share with you, but you’ll have to wait a little while for those. In the meantime, there’ll be a brand new DIY on the blog for you to get your teeth stuck into on Thursday. 🙂
xx Steph
