Hold onto your hats – this is one super fast, super easy DIY! I sketched this floral pattern a little while ago for a friend’s hens party and it turned out quite well (if I do say so myself) so I thought I’d share it on here too.
I really enjoyed being able to use my sketchpad and pencils again, it’s such a peaceful and rewarding activity (note to self: I really should make a point to get away from my iPad and sketch more often). In the meantime, you don’t have to worry about sketching or pencils for this project – simply print, cut out and you’re good to go!
Materials
- Scissors or a ruler and craft knife
- Rounded corner punch (optional)
- Place card/menu holder (optional)
Step 1
Download the printable table number file (at the end of this post) and print it in colour onto good quality card stock. I’ve included 20 table numbers, so hopefully this will cover all your tables!
Grab a pair of scissors (or for a super straight cut, try using a metal ruler and craft knife) and cut out the table numbers using the crop marks as a guide.
Step 2
You can leave the table numbers just like this if you like, but if you have a punch handy, try rounding out the corners to finish them off.
Then simply pop each table number into a place card or menu holder like the one below (or try using a frame if you like) and you’re done! Couldn’t be easier right?
I found that bright spring flowers worked best with the colours in these table numbers, but I’d love to hear your suggestions for styling. If you do end up using these, let me know how you styled them in your wedding or party decor!
