Is it just me or does 2022 feels very much like 2021?
I took a nice, long break over Christmas and I was lucky enough to have a proper staycation. We caught up with family and friends, relaxed, and spent some much needed time in the great outdoors.
But I know many people who missed holidays and were stuck in isolation because they were close contacts or worse still, actually had COVID. By the end of the festive season, they were understandably exhausted.
It seems like a desperate wish at this point, but oh how I hope that this is the year the pandemic finally ends.
Usually I’d draw something festive to ring in the new year (cue champagne glasses and fireworks), but it didn’t feel right this time around. So instead here are some colourful flowers to brighten the mood and distract us from the prospect of yet another year living through a pandemic.
I hope you were one of the fortunate ones that got to go on holidays or really kick back and relax over the Christmas break. Happy new year and keep your fingers crossed for a less stressful 2022!
