Can you believe that Christmas is around the corner? I know, I know, it catches me unawares every year, and yes, you think I’d learn to plan ahead in November, but the festive season really snuck up on me after coming out of lockdown.
It feels like we’ve just recovered from the shock of being isolated and now suddenly it’s social gatherings every weekend and somewhere in the mix I have to shop for gifts!
To be honest, I haven’t even started Christmas shopping yet and it’s freaking me out because everyone’s talking about postage delays and supply shortages. So from now until Christmas Eve, if you imagine me running around like a headless chicken, you’ll be pretty much spot on.
To counteract the crazy of the season, I drew a peaceful Christmas caravan for you to stick on your screens. It’s got stars and twinkly lights, a chair with a cosy blanket and some pretty fir trees.
It’s full of the serenity I will try to channel as I frantically prepare for the coming holidays. Deep breaths. Whew. 😀
Just for the record, this still beats lockdown hands down, so there’s that at least. Have a wonderful December!
