It’s crazy and scary how much has changed in the space of a month. At the start of March, we had just gotten over the worst of the bushfires and I was looking forward to autumn outings in the cooler weather.
Fast forward to now and the world is in lockdown.
Fred and I are now working from home on weekdays and pottering around the house on weekends. It’s a peaceful existence and one I’m so grateful for given how much others are suffering.
But the threat of the virus still looms overhead and I worry about our health, how daycare shutdowns are going to affect Lauren’s development (she’s got gross motor delays) and our ability to make ends meet if we can’t work.
This is a new kind of unknown for us (and for everyone else too I guess!), so we’re taking just each day as it comes and hoping for the best.
Sending all my love along to you, along with this easter sketch in the hopes it might make the month of April just that little bit brighter.
