Happy new year! We're heading off on a little family vacay today so I'm hurriedly trying to fit this in before we leave. I'm actually supposed to be packing, but guess who left writing this post to the last minute?
It's only 1 day into 2023 and I'm already on the back foot haha.
Lauren was able to stay awake for the kiddie fireworks last night on TV, which was lots of fun. Usually her eyes close way before we reach 9pm so even though it was just on the screen, it was a real treat.
I can't wait until she's got enough staying power to see the fireworks at a park or in the city one day.
