Hello March. This month is off to a rocky start with my mum going in for surgery this weekend. It’s not a big surgery, but it’s on her brain, which is always scary. I wish there was more that I could do to help, but for now it’s a waiting game until the procedure takes

February already, can you believe it? We’re well into the swing of things with work and daycare over here, and sadly also Lauren’s medical appointments. I really didn’t want her to have to undergo more tests this year, but we’ve already had one HARD blood test (how do you explain these things to a 3

The world is still in the midst of a pandemic and those heavy feelings are present all the time, but spring is here and somehow seeing the flowers bloom has managed to cut through even the darkest of days. The evenings are getting longer, the air is balmy and the weather has been spectacular lately.

I know it’s the height of winter, but we had some beautiful sunny days last week and all I could think about was how nice it’ll be to sit outdoors and enjoy the flowers once spring rolls around. Sadly these days, thoughts like that are always followed by ‘what if we’re not allowed to go

There were so many tea puns that ran through my head while I was drawing this. š I’ll spare you the terrible dad jokes, but needless to say, tea is one of my favourite things because it makes me feel warm and cosy, AND because it lends itself to so many bad jokes (or good,

My heart breaks with all the pain being felt in the world at the moment. It’s quite strange because here in Australia, the days are sunny, life is calm and we’re returning to some semblance of normality as lockdown restrictions ease. But at the same time, across the world, news reports depict scenes of rage,
